Life Legacy Foundation, a certified 501(c)(3) organization, was established January 2010 but was officially authenticated by the state of Missouri October 31, 2014 to honor and continue the vision of my late father, Clarence Johnson, II and my mom, his widow, Betty A. Johnson who worked tirelessly in Ministry as the founding pastors of Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, hence the name adoption.
My parents instilled in me the the value of selflessness at an early age. After watching them for years, the ministry of help became the fabric of my being. My goal is to remain relentless in connecting with the community by supporting the whole person: mind, body and sprirt. With the encouragement of my family, friends and community partners, we are keeping the legacy alive!
Some of our initiatives include scholarships for graduating high school seniors; community outreach/networking (with an emphasis on the homeless population and adults who are struggling with mental illness); missing children advocacy; domestic violence awareness; Christmas sponsorship, and eventually a transitional living facilty, food pantry and clothes closet. Life Legacy Foundation isn’t just a name, it’s a movement.
